During the height of the COVID pandemic, when schools in Ontario were only able to function virtually, our school was faced with the challenge of somehow creating transition activities - that is, activities designed to help prospective students from our feeder schools get a chance to see our facilities, meet our staff, and experience some of our specialty programs.  Not being able to have them join us in-person made this difficult; the solution that I came up with was to create a virtual escape room that showcased our facility, staff members, and programs.

It's true - we are able to meet in-person now (yay!).  However, I have found that this virtual escape room has still been a great tool for showcasing our school to potential students to help them become familiar with us, and, because it's super fun, it also serves the secondary function of getting students engaged and excited about our school.  See an example of this here.
